Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. This page lists the cookies industrytalkstech.com uses and explains your choices. It goes together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Your choice

When you first visit, a banner asks what you allow: Reject all, Accept all or Choose cookies. Nothing measures your visit or our adverts until you say yes. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; if you say no later, we remove those cookies. We also pass your choice to Google (Consent Mode), so Google's services follow it.

2. Cookies the website needs (always on)

These keep the website working and secure, so they don't need your permission:

  • payload-token: keeps you signed in. It lasts until you close your browser, or up to 30 days if you tick "Remember me".
  • itt_cart: remembers what is in your cart. It lasts 60 days.
  • itt_consent: remembers your cookie choice. It lasts 180 days.
  • itt_google_state, itt_google_verifier and itt_google_next: used only while you sign in with Google, for up to 10 minutes.
  • Stripe (on the checkout page): __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid help Stripe process your payment and prevent fraud. They last up to 1 year and 30 minutes.
  • Cloudflare (on sign-up and forms): the bot check may use a short-lived technical cookie to tell people from automated programs.

3. Analytics cookies (only if you allow "Analytics")

  • Google Analytics: _ga and _ga_… count visits and show which pages are useful. They last up to 2 years.
  • itt_src: remembers which page or advert brought you to the website, for 30 days, so we can save it with your order. It is also used with marketing consent.

4. Marketing cookies (only if you allow "Marketing")

  • Google Ads: _gcl_au and related cookies measure which Google adverts lead to sign-ups and purchases. They last up to 90 days.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): _fbp and _fbc measure our Meta adverts. They last up to 90 days.
  • LinkedIn: li_fat_id and related cookies measure our LinkedIn adverts. They last up to 30 days; LinkedIn may set others on its own domain.

5. Videos

Course and overview videos play in the Vimeo player, which we set to "do not track". In this mode, Vimeo does not use cookies to follow you.

6. Removing cookies in your browser

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the cookies the website needs, you won't be able to sign in or buy.

7. Changes and contact

We update this page when we change the cookies we use; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions? Write to admin@industrytalkstech.com.
