IndustryTalksTech

Terms and Conditions

Last updated

These terms explain how IndustryTalksTech ("we", "us") provides its website, online courses and digital products, and what we expect from you. By creating an account or buying from us, you agree to them. If you have a question, write to us at admin@industrytalkstech.com.

1. Your account

  • You need an account to buy and to use courses. You can sign up with your email address (we ask you to confirm it) or with your Google account.
  • Please give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • An account is for one person. Sharing your sign-in or your purchases with others is not allowed.
  • We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, for example to stop sharing, misuse or fraud. Where possible, we will tell you first and explain why.

2. Courses, white papers and books

  • Online courses are made of video lessons and materials that you watch on our website. A course stays available to you for life, unless the course page shows a limited access period or a deadline.
  • White papers are PDF files that you download from your account (My Library).
  • Books are sold by Amazon and other stores. When you follow a store link, that store's own terms apply to your purchase.
  • When you finish all required lessons of a course, you receive a certificate. Anyone who has the certificate's link or ID can check it on our website; the check page shows your name, the course and the date.
  • We keep improving our courses, so lessons may be updated, added or reorganised over time. If we ever have to withdraw a course you bought, we will contact you about a fair solution.

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in US dollars. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout, including any discount from a valid coupon. Coupons have their own conditions, which we show when you use them.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
  • Your course or download is added to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed. You receive a receipt by email, and you can download your invoices from Orders & Billing.
  • If taxes apply to your purchase, they are shown at checkout before you pay.

4. Your right to cancel (customers in the UK and the EU)

Consumers in the UK and the EU normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content, this right ends once you agree to get access straight away and the course or download starts. At checkout we ask for that agreement before you pay. Our refund rules below still apply.

5. Refunds

  • You can ask for a refund within 14 days of your purchase, unless the order page shows a different period. Open My Account → Orders & Billing, choose the order and select Request a refund.
  • White papers that you have already downloaded cannot be refunded.
  • We review every request and tell you our decision by email. Approved refunds go back to the card or payment method you used, through Stripe. Your bank may take 5–10 working days to show it.
  • When a refund is made, the refunded course or download is removed from your account.
  • If a payment is disputed with your bank, access to the items in that order is paused until the dispute is settled.

6. Using our content

  • All courses, videos, white papers, texts and designs belong to IndustryTalksTech or to their authors. When you buy, you receive a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own learning.
  • Please do not copy, record, download (except white papers from your library), share, resell or publish our content, and do not use it to train software or build other products.
  • Lesson videos may show your email address on screen, to discourage sharing.
  • Our courses and papers are for education and information. They are not professional, financial, legal or investment advice for your specific situation.

7. Fair use of the website

Please do not try to break into, overload or disrupt the website, copy it automatically (scraping), get around access checks, or send spam through our forms. We protect the website with limits on repeated attempts and with a bot check, and we may block activity that looks like misuse.

8. Availability

We work to keep the website available at all times, but short interruptions can happen, for example during maintenance. We are not responsible for problems caused by your internet connection, device or browser.

9. Our responsibility

  • We provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
  • As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, such as lost profits or lost business opportunities, and our total responsibility for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.
  • Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law, or your legal rights as a consumer.

10. Closing your account

You can ask us to delete your account at any time from Profile & Settings, or by email. Deleting your account ends your access to your courses, downloads and certificates; our team confirms by email before anything is deleted. We keep the records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices, as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add new services or when the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters for you, we will tell you by email or on the website. The terms that applied when you bought something keep applying to that purchase.

12. Law and disputes

If something goes wrong, please contact us first. Most problems can be solved quickly by email. These terms are governed by the law that applies where IndustryTalksTech is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can use the courts there.
